It is located in the rural part of Nepal having limited amenities and low promotion. Trekking in Arun Valley can be one of the adventurous treks to the trekker.

Arun valley trekking can be either started from Lukla or can be started from Tumlingtar. If we started our trekking from Tumlingtar then the trekking will be for 15 Days and 14 nights which will cost around US$1990. However, trekking started from Lukla will be for 11 Days and 10 Nights which will cost around US$1550. In comparison to trekking started from Tumlingtar I will prefer to start trekking from Lukla because of the lower cost and short time interval.
