Situated in Siraha, Province 2, Nepal, Rajdevi temple one of the famous temples attracting thousands of Hindu devotees from Nepal and India. The temple has an easy access with the facility of around nine kilometers drive to the north thanks to its link to the East-west highway from Lahan, a city and a trade centre in Siraha. You can also fly to a domestic airport at Rajbiraj, from where you may hire a taxi straight to the temple, or may use public transportation service. This temple is crammed with people during the greatest of Hindu festivals Dashain and Tihar so as to sacrifice goats, pigeons, ducks, hens, etc, with hopes that gods will be pleased with them and fulfill their dreams. This sacrificial ceremony is popularly denoted by the Nepali term ‘bali’.
